Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he's referred to for the music world is a British musician and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the group One Direction. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There, along with three schoolmates, he formed his own band, White Eskimo. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their excellent presentations they were winners. He always showed an interest in music, but he would like to work as a lawyer or physical therapy. While working in the city's bakery, Harry Styles was able to feed his family. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and performed Is not She Lovely, an iconic Stevie Wonder song. He got selected. The reason for this was the band split up. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he join of a brand new group, One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to create the group in 2010. The group performed hits such as My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. The group was one of the potential winners to win the award. But they came in third, behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles was not the winner. Cowell had paid 2,000,000 pounds under a contract with One Direction.
