Selena Gomez

Selena Marie Gomez (/s@'li:n@ 'goUmez/ s@-LEE-n@ GOH-mez born on 22 July 1992) is an American singer, actress and producer. Gomez started her acting career in 2002 on the television show for children Barney & Friends. In her teens Gomez gained fame for her performance as Alex Russo in the Disney Channel television show Wizards of Waverly Place (1907-2012). Gomez, through July Moon Productions, executive produced 13 Reasons Why (2017-2022) and Living Undocumented (1919). She also executive produces and stars in the HBO Max cooking series Selena + Chef (2020-2022) and the Hulu mystery-comedy show Only Murders in the Building (2021-present). The latter series earned Gomez not only praise from critics but also nominations for an Golden Globe Award, and as a producer and producer, and a Primetime Emmy Award . Gomez released three albums in her former band Selena Gomez & the Scene All of them made it to the top ten in the US Billboard 200 and were certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA): Kiss & Tell (2009), A Year Without Rain (2010) and Sun goes down (2011).
